Marielle Shaylor, LMT


Marielle Shaylor has been a massage therapist since 2008, having obtained her original training and CA licensure at the National Holistic Institute in Encino, CA. She currently holds licensure in the states of Georgia and Pennsylvania and is nationally certified with NCBTMB. Marielle has continued to further her studies in Thai Body Work at the International Training Massage School, based in Chiang Mai, Thailand and she is a certified practicioner in the Bellanina Facelift Massage. Marielle has had the privilege to work with celebrity clientele at award-winning spas and destination resorts such as Burke Williams Spa in Sherman Oaks, CA, Jiivana Spa at the Pacific Islands Club in Tamuning, Guam, and The Lodge at Woodloch in the Pocono Mountains.


Marielle's approach to her work features a fusion of both Eastern and Western Modalities. Her introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Meridian Theory opened her eyes to a simple truth that "All Matters". While some clients may suffer from pain from an external source, some may be experiencing "psychogenic" pain, or rather, pain experienced from emotional stressors. Her knowledge of Thai Yoga Work, Shiatsu, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Jo Rei, and Myofascial Release facilitate clients to return to their natural and peaceful state. Marielle has also received further training from Gayle Freedman in Oncological Massage for clients with Cancer.

 


While not working with massage therapy, Marielle teaches Dance in local studios as well as help out with the high school dance teams in the Twin Tiers area of NY and PA.

 

 
Rebekah Dulaney, LMT

Bekah graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage Therapy in Ithaca, NY in 2011 and has been a nationally certified Massage Therapist (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork) since 2012. Prior to attaining her Massage Therapy certificate, Bekah studied Social Work at Lock Haven University. Her background in human services strongly influences her practice of massage. Since 2013 she has volunteered with Beth Fisher’s Fireflies Massage Team to offer free massage at community events and charity fundraisers, and has brought in-home massage to her clients through her mobile massage service.Additionally, she is certified in Pediatric Massage and is also a Certified Instructor for Infant and Toddler Massage.

Bekah blends several massage modalities into her unique style. In her practice she focuses on Deep Tissue Massage, incorporating Swedish, Shiatsu, and sports massage techniques. She will be offering hot stone massage and Bamboo Fusion. Bekah is dedicated to both the long-term health of her clients and the short-term resolution of pain issues. Her clients encompass all age groups and all walks of life and include physicians, laborers, educators, executives, stay-at-home Moms, infants and children. Bekah is confident in her belief that massage promotes health and well-being and encourages everyone to try massage therapy at least once to experience the benefits first-hand.

When Bekah is not at Bella Healing Arts, she devotes her time to her family. She and her husband and their 3 children enjoy camping, fishing, hunting and being outdoors.

 

Kathy Oeffner, RN, BSN, LMT

Kathy received her massage therapy training at the School of the Healing Arts in Princeton, NJ in 1989. For the past 25 years, she has been promoting health and wellness in the community through her work as a nurse, massage therapist, certified yoga instructor, and also as part of the Wellness Department of Memorial Hospital in Towanda, PA.

Kathy combines her broad knowledge of these modalities into her practice. Her goal is to promote optimal health ...and well-being. She achieves this by matching her variety of skills to the clients specific needs, while at the same time understanding that a mindful and compassionate presence is what is essential for a deeply restorative massage experience.

In her free time, Kathy can be found outside enjoying nature or training for the next triathlon event. Kathy is also currently working with the Nurse-Family Partnership as a Nurse-Home Visitor / Supervisor and teaching Yoga Classes at the Bradford County YMCA.
